Hi Goddesses
Hurrah, this week ends!! Lol. Here's another mani from when I hated this theme and when I was really struggling with it.
I did this mani a couple of weeks ago as 4th July manis were starting to appear in my newsfeed. I didn't want to do anything tooo All-American as I didn't want it to look like I'd posted my mani a fortnight late lol, but I did use it to give me some cues.
I decided to do a Stars n Stripes mani which wasn't obviously like the flag. So, my stripes were a gradient - Lilypad Rebel At Heart and A Balt Out Of The Blue.
Unusually for me, I gradiented over a white base (to get the white into my stripes lol), and I really like the grungey effect it created.
For my stars, I used a small brush and white acrylic paint. I still can't do them as neatly as other people (or as small) but yay, they look like stars!
Thankfully, next month is all about Summer ....
