You may squint at today's manicure and wonder if you've seen it before, and the answer is yes .... and no. I did 2 very similar manis for the 31DC in January, and this is a variation I did, taking it to the brightest extreme.
There's something about this pattern that just makes me smile. Not a little smile either, but a great big HAPPY smile. The pattern is super simple to do, and looks great in any colour mix.

NOPI Pink. Seriously.
The only minor annoyage with this mani is the slight streaking. I don't usually get streaks from my top coat, but I am assuming it happened here because the dots used to create the flowers were quite thick and dense.

As you all know, dots is one of my very favourite nail art themes, because it is SO easy.
This mani happened by accident. The ring finger was an accent nail I did about blogging for the Digit-al Dozen Thankfulness Challenge, and I loved the mix of the colours so much, I just knew I wanted to make a whole mani out of it.
There is something about this combination of colours that just works. Is it the brownier shade of purple? Is it the fact that the orange is muted? Or is it the introduction of a single holographic?

When I did this mani, I did an accent inversion on the middle nail, and regretted it at the time. However, revisiting it a few weeks on, I really like how the colours clash and collide in a different way on the orange nail.
Possibly one of my favourite dotticures I've EVER done!
