PURPLE REIGN, PURRRRRPLE REIGN

Nails I Love

PURE ICE – Purple Reign

Hi Goddesses

Well, this one truly is fit for a goddess – this is the DELICIOUS Purple Reign.

Question – what’s regal, purple, dusty, gold-flecked and utterly frickin’ awesome?  Yep, Purple Reign, that’s what.

This babe is just superlicious.   I would be happy to wear this pretty much all the time – it’s THAT good.

Purple Reign – purple base.  The base has a browny red tone, instantly making this a warm purple.  As if the colour wasn’t beautiful enough, it’s then PACKED with super tiny gold flecks, instantly adding more warmth.

It looks like a chocolate milkshake with a dollop of purple happiness in it.  The combination makes this a total show-stopper.  This polish stops time.  It is soooooo beautiful, you will want to gaze at it forever.

This is a perfect colour for autumn – warm, rich, dazzling.  Aaaah, happiness is Purple Reign.

Enjoy J

Nails I Love - Pure Ice JACKPOT

Nails I Love

PURE ICE – Jackpot

Hello Goddesses.  Today is a short post, but a happy one.  How bright and cheerful is this polish ??

This is Pure Ice’s Jackpot.  It’s a gorgeous bright pink, but not overpowering, not neon, and not one that requires sunglasses (and therefore it fits my criteria lol).

It’s super shiny and applied really smoothly.    For me, this is the perfect shade of fuchsia.  Looking at this makes me smile.

You can’t really see it in the photos, but this has tiny – and I mean tiiiiiiiiiny – glass flecks in it, which just give it that bit of extra dazzle.  For me, this is the real winner, as I found the flecks in China Glaze’s Strawberry Fields too much.

Then, just for fun, I layered some KleanColor Fuschia Glitter over it.  In the bottle, it’s a sheer raspberry crammed with multi-sized pieces of glitter which I thought were multi-coloured.  On the nail, you can tell they’re not, they’re all silver (it was the raspberry sheerness that made some of them seem pink).

I think this looks like pure happiness.  A lovely happy pink with little bits of fairy glitter.  Super girlie J

Nails I Love - PURE ICE Iced Merlot

Nails I Love

PURE ICE – Iced Merlot

Hi Goddesses.  So, Pure Ice is a new brand for me.  I had never heard of it, but kept coming across swatches where normal colours had been layered with these amazing sparkly sheer top coats – Heartbreaker, Busted, Oh Baby – and a lemming was born.

I found a great eBay store selling off old stock and it just seemed plain *rude* to not try and keep at least some of that family together ha ha.  So, as well as the above, I bought some of their colours, and I’ll be showing you them over the next few weeks.

Iced Merlot is –
  • ·         Not as dark as its name suggests
  • ·         A perfect summer colour – dammit, wish I’d had this a couple of months ago
  • ·         And super happy

This is a sparkling raspberry – a bright pinky red with LOADS of micro shimmer and glimmer, and I mean LOADS.  Capital letters = LOADS.  It really sparkles and catches the light – as I say, I wish I had had this when the sun was shining!

This is quite different to most of the reds I own – there’s just something unapologetic in its bright dazzly pinkiness that I love.  The glimmer is fabulous and just takes it to another level.

Enjoy J
