The Digit-al Dozen DOES Winter Wonderland - Icy Trees

Hi Goddesses

Today's mani is another icy extravaganza lol, again featuring Literary Lacquers Always Winter Never Christmas and Barry M Huckleberry.

These 2 make an awesome gradient.  The glitter in AWNC doesn't quite die, and I love the icy effect as it peeks through the 2nd polish.

I used the nail aprons from Loki's Nail Vinyls for this mani, and it saved me loads of time on clean up.

The trees are a sad story.  Firstly, the pattern (which I love) is from Cheeky Jumbo Plate 6, called Happy Holidays.  I love the spartan, barren qualities of the design.

This is the first and only time I stamped with Mundo de Unas.   I bought 10, and opened this white and just knew I would never be able to cope with the smell.  Awful.  Truly awful.   Buy with caution.

I leave you with some more shots of the beautiful gradient.

13 Days of Halloween - Super Simple Stamping

Hi Goddesses

I had an awesome day in the nail room yesterday - 9 manis done, and more fun to be had today.

I mentioned last week how I hate the cutesy commercialisation of Halloween, which is why I usualy avoid it as a mani theme, but I have to say, since I've started these 13 posts, I'm having more and more fun.

It also struck me how some of the things I am doing are relatively advanced, so I've decided to throw in some extra posts to make sure that ANYONE can have Halloween styled nails that don't make you throw up lol.

Today is just about as simple as it gets.

Recipe -

* take 1 gorgeous orange polish - I have used MOD Lacquer Interstellar Artifact

* find 1 or 2 cool stamping images - both of mine come from Cheeky Jumbo plate 6

* pick a black stamping polish - I have used MoYou black

Et voila!  Now, I appreciate this post assumes you can stamp (and isn't that the tricky beast to master), but this is a really simple Halloween nail art to pull together.

Check back for more soon!
