Grace-Full Nail Polish - Jacinta

Hi Goddesses

After a week of the glorious Ozness that is Shades of Phoenix, we now switch to another brand of glorious Ozness - Grace-Full Nail Polish.

Most of the polishes I was sent are from her new Dreamy Beach pastel collection, and they are fantastic.  They have an intensity that you don't often see in pastels, making them juicily opaque at 2 coats, and nail art versatile.  I also have a suspicion they will stamp well, but haven't had the chance to prove this .... yet.

Let's start with Jacinta, named after yet ANOTHER Oz indie lol, Jacinta of Powder Perfect.    It's a stunningly intense dark lilac, slightly blue and dusty in tone.  A Crumpet kind of polish :)

For funsies I used Emma from the same collection and a shaggy stroke to create some semi-ikat chevrons.  I love the simplicity of this kind of pattern, and that a little messiness helps it, rather than hinders it.

It also reminds me a little of the Cheshire Cat :)

You can visit Grace-Full Polish HERE - Theresa also has a special international shipping discount at the moment - see below for more details.  These polishes were sent to me for an honest review.

I've opened to International shipping for two weeks from the 6th April until the 20th but unfortunately there are some restrictions to International shipping. You pay one flat rate but I can only send 6 bottle of polish internationally, at a time. So please keep your order to 6 polishes.
Take advantage of the 20%off sale and use code EASTER until 11.59pm Tuesday AEST and don't forget prices are in Aussie dollars.

Girly Bits Ikat - Too Hot For Pants and Seriously Sassy

Hi Goddesses

And welcome to another week!  This week is a bit of a mash-up on the blog.  For the first time in 2 months, there is no scheduled programming, (no end of year stuff or 31DC), and so it's time to clear out some stuff that's been lurking around, politely waiting for a time to be scheduled.

We start with a mani I am REALLY fond of, and which was actually done in mid-September!   This features 2 Girly Bits polishes - the amazing pink of Too Hot For Pants, and the purple loveliness of Seriously Sassy.

I am rather in love with ikat designs.  They're a great way to mix colours, they're bold, they're deliberately "messy" in the strokes, and they always look cool.

I particularly loved how these 2 polishes played together.

31DC2015 Day 20 - Rainbow

Hi Goddesses

I had a mixture of ideas for this one, and wasn't sure which way to go, and then I remembered THIS amazing mani from my DD alum, Hannah, from Dalai Llama Nails.

I loved the simplicity and the originality of this mani, plus the messy ikat design.

I chose my rainbow of colours -

Powder Perfect Lorelei
Barry M Blueberry
Barry M Spring Green
Barry M Yellow
Essie Orange It's Obvious
Barry M Blood Orange

This is such a simple but gorgeous mani.  Super easy to do - shaggy brush strokes is all that's required.

I loved Hannah's matte version, but I think I might prefer the glossy version even more.  This just screams happiness to me.
