31DC2015 Day 10 - Glitter Base

Hi Goddesses

This mani makes me a little sad.  It's one of the first I did for the challenge - and look, an index finger I don't need to be ashamed of :(  It really bums me out  that I've had to do the bulk of this challenge with a hideous nail.

Anyway, that gorgeous glitter is Faerie by Powder Perfect, a superpink glitter bomb, and I stamped over it with MoYou Kaleidoscope 06.

Kaleidoscope 06 is fast becoming one of my very favourite nail plates - I love the images on it.  They're fancy and interesting, but "gappy" enough to let the base shine through.

Originally (and you can just about see this on the index nail), I wanted to stamp this in a mixture of pink and white, but the pink just wouldn't show against the base.  No drama though - I still love how this turned out.

#52WPNMC Favourite Brand

Hi Goddesses

Siiiiigh ....  a favourite anything is always a difficult prompt, but favourite BRAND?  Wow, where to start when there are so many, and what to reveal when it's so close to revealing your end of year favourites?

And then the answer collided with me.  I was working out my mani, thinking what I could do and then deciding I could just stamp on top .. and I realised, MoYou, they're my favourite brand.

Every Friday MoYou release new plates.  They send out an email on a Wednesday and I read it with equal excitement and trepidation, hoping to be wowed, but also hoping I won't want to buy and spend MORE MoYou money lol.

I love their creativity, marketing strategy and - most important here - their quality.  Even if you think you can't stamp, you definitely can with MoYou.

And so here we have another new Polish Bar lovely (Star Voyage) dabbled with the purple Polish Bar loveliness of Dream Galaxy and then stamped with a pattern of pure amazingness from MoYou Kaleidoscope 06.

I absolutely love the melodrama of these nails :)  there's something deliciously, vixenly gothic about them.  God bless MoYou :)
