Best of British 14/10/12

Hi Goddesses

I hope you've had a good week!  I've had the week from hell at work, but a fab week here in Blogland - funny how that happens, isn't it?

The main thing for me this week was the Digit-al Dozen theme week which was Halloween, and after that you've seen a lot of Crows Toes polishes (which I love) with a few more to come.

I mentioned briefly yesterday that the rest of the month is going to be rather GREEN.  Green is the colour for Depression Awareness, so I am doing a series of manis about the different aspects of depression, and I'll also be clearing some great green polishes out of the vault.  There's also a holy crapton of Halloweenies to swatch and show you, so it's going to be a busy end to the month!

Enjoy xx :)

So what's new in Crumpetland?  Well, quite a lot, but as I've done a lot of posts on that over the weekend, I'm not going to drivel on any longer, but I will be spending a large part of the weekend starting to build Indie Corner.

I also woke up this morning to my first savaging on the blog - some quite hateful comments on the Lynderella post.  Intellectually,  I know I should ignore them, and I can rationalise that everyone is entitled to an opinion, but the personal nature of the insults still hurts ...  tears for breakfast anyone ?

This week is my birthday, so I'm off to plan some awesome things!

Enjoy your Sunday xx:)

**************************

And what about the rest of my week?  Well, basically it's been Blog Sale hell / nirvana!!  I really didn't anticipate quite the madness it can cause, and it took my multi-tasking to a whole new level!!

Luckily I had Baby Crumpet on hand to er play with the polishes ... but then she sorted them by brand, took little tickets from me and collected the right polishes into a bucket, put them in piles, and then the next morning, when I woke up, she'd bubble wrapped them all too!  What a star, bless her :)

Extremely stressful though it was, it has bought me a new camera, lamp and lightbox, a erm couple of new polishes, new Cheeky plates, new LeaLac plates, AND more rhinestones and glitter than you can shake a showgirl at.

There's still goodies left, so don't forget to check them out in the sidebar.

Enjoy xx :)
