Hi Goddesses
Today's post is another blogger and another brand. The blogger is Cris from Let Them Have Polish, and back when I first started, she was one of my 3 essential blogs (along with Chalkboard Nails and The Polishaholic).
Every day I would be wowed by Cris's designs. She was the mistress of the skittle, and also the mistress of the relatively simple. If you look back on her designs, none of them are particularly complex, but she excelled at mixing and matching so that the sum was more than the parts.
Cris was a great stamper, and really opened my eyes to what Konad could bring to a mani. She was also obsessed with this liger design, and who can blame her! She also knew how to bling it up. She constantly added little touches - a rhinestone, or a holo top coat - that just made her mani a little bit MORE. There's no one else filling her gap. I miss her.
As for polishes, I wanted to honour Girly Bits this week. Girly Bits was my first indie polish purchase, waaaay back when she first started, and I don't think Pam is given enough praise for how much she has influenced the indie polish market. She has been epicly consistent over the years, and is a true pioneer. I chose the stunning teal that is Get Weaponised and the purple magic of Defying Gravity.
For my other polishes, I chose ones Cris introduced me too. I'd never heard of Bettina until she started singing their praises, and although I don't own many, they are all gorgeous. The best thing Cris ever did though was introduce me to Oh My Oceania by Sation - the most EXQUISITE shimmery aqua EVERRRRR.
Cris, salute xx

Hi Goddesses
And welcome to another week! Sadly polish life is far more exciting than real life for me at the moment, so let's embrace the polish and have fun!
As part of my birthday present to myself, I had a bit of a Girly Bits haul - only a couple of bottles, well 11, but who's counting - and part of that haul was the new What Really Happened In Vegas set.
I bought the set cos I loved a couple of the colours and was 50/50 about the other 3. Well, 50/50 me no more, I love them all!!
These polishes are DELICIOUS and of course you'll see them in all their solo glory soon, but skittling like this is my favourite way to wear my new or untried polishes, and to get an instant feel for which ones might be keepers, or which ones don't match my skin tone, or look like dupes of polishes I already own (or each other, ILNP I AM looking at you).
Although the blue is my favourite of these 5 - it's so freakin' BLUE - and sparkly - and BLUE!!! - and sparkly - I love the congruence of the other 4, and how they are perfect autumn tones. I was especially shocked by the brown, which I thought I would hate, but which actually mesmerises me.
So which ones's which?
* thumb - Blue Ribbon Cankles
* index - The Shaft
* middle - Up All Night To Get Lucky
* ring - Downtown Funk
* pinkie - It Was The Fireball
For fun, I stamped afterwards using MoYou Illusion 03.

Hi Goddesses
It feels a little like it's been Girly Bits week so far this week on the blog, and this is the 3rd and final post I had vaulted. I think sometimes I take Girly Bits for granted - Pam has been making great polishes for so long, that I don't always appreciate exactly HOW good, reliable and quality-consistent she is.
Take these multichromes today. I bought them last year when the world went duochrome / multichrome crazy. I bought a couple from ILNP, a couple from Girly Bits and a few from KBShimmer. Over the next week, you'll get to hear my views on the differing quality between the 3 brands. Suffice to say, Girly Bits either topped the list, or shared the headline slot.
First up Belly Jeans. This is primarily a blue-purple shifter, with holographic dust thrown in.
When the purple burns bright, this is a stunner.
Go And Shake A Tower is similar to Belly Jeans, but dialled down a notch.
This is again filled with holographic dust, and stays mostly blue (or did in my lighting).
I Hit My Bunny Phone is non-holographic and the colours are therefore stronger.
This is darkly purple, with a burgundy to ruby shift. It won't surprise you to know that this was my favourite ;)
Wave The Sails is also non-holographic. The purple in this is bluer, and it leans pink rather than burgundy.
Not quite as mesmeric as IHMBP, this still packs wallop, especially when the pink duochrome sits on the polish like fairy shimmer.
I've bought and destashed a LOT of duochromes over the years. I have to say, the quality of these is fabulous, both in terms of application and colour-drama. If you're still looking to pick some up, you won't go wrong with these.
