Grace-Full Nail Polish - Maria

Hi Goddesses

Another stunning polish today from Grace-Full Nail Polish.  If this doesn't smell of summer, I don't know what does!

Maria is a sensational orange.  Perfect formula and perfect tone - intense, but just a little muted to take the edges off.   It's gorgeous and dramatic and I just couldn't get enough of it.

Orange polishes always make me happy, and this has become my go-to orange.  It worked fantastically in nail art and its sensuous colour just made me giddy all over :)

For art, I decided to do an overlapping blobbicure.  I am still struggling with this method a little - it seems very hit and miss whether I get the effect I want.

The ring finger is much better than the middle, and yet I'd swear I did them exactly the same!    I like the fun of these 2 accent nails, which I did using other colours from the Grace-Full Dream Beach Collection.

You can visit Grace-Full Polish HERE - Theresa also has a special international shipping discount at the moment - see below for more details.  These polishes were sent to me for an honest review.

I've opened to International shipping for two weeks from the 6th April until the 20th but unfortunately there are some restrictions to International shipping. You pay one flat rate but I can only send 6 bottle of polish internationally, at a time. So please keep your order to 6 polishes.
Take advantage of the 20%off sale and use code EASTER until 11.59pm Tuesday AEST and don't forget prices are in Aussie dollars.

31DC2015 - Day 22 - Blobbicure

Hi Goddesses

I am determined to master the blobbicure, and today I feel I got a little closer!

For those of you who haven't tried it yet, it involves dropping polish on wet polish.  The new polish spreads out on the wet polish to create this beautiful pebble / blob pattern.

You have to work quick to keep the first polish thick and wet, to allow the 2nd polish to spread.  And it's tricky to overload your dotter enough to turn this into a BLOBBICURE, not just a dotticure.

I love the colour clash going on here, with Barry M Blood Orange and Pink Punch.

Damn that ring finger nail though!

My First Blobbicure - with Literary Lacquers

Hi Goddesses

I'd been desperate to try a blobbicure for a little while - it's a style that seems to have Crumpet written all over it lol.  Basically, it's another random style, so it's right up my street.

I am obviously missing something technique-wise because I'm not yet getting the results I want, but they look so lovely, I am happy to practice.

For this mani, I used 2 Literary Lacquers colours - Swallowed Up In Blue and Megatron.

A Blobbicure involves dropping polish onto a wet base - the polish "blob" then spreads, and if you're lucky, you get an awesome pebbled pattern.

As I say, I'm going wrong somewhere, because I feel I end up just dotting to fill in the spaces, so more research for me!

That said, I still like this :)
