Hi Goddesses
Today's mani is one of the first I did for this week's challenge, and features a mani I did for Day 2 of January's 31DC.
I was in love with the tape mani I had done on 3 fingers, and was curious to see if it could take another pattern - and I think it did!
The polishes are -
base - Literary Lacquers - Shadown Between Us
Indigo Bananas - Halcyon, Twice As Bright, Electric Unicorns
Before I did the stamping, I did a little bit of splodging with the same polishes on the 2 non-taped nails, and then I stamped using MoYou purple stamping polish and MoYou Pro 01.
Unexpectedly it works, and it looks pretty similar to quite a lot of socks I have!

Today's prompt is holo and I used it as an excuse to use a stunning holo I was sent for review by Literary Lacquers.
Rebecca, Always Rebecca is beyond words. It is sublime perfection, from the colour, to the holo, to the added sparkle.
I love many things about this polish, but what I love most is that it is the holy grail of purples: all things. It has a brown base, but the holo and sparkle has a cold blue shift, making it every shade of twilight.
The dazzle on this one is also high. Never mind the perfection of the colour, the perfection of the sparkle is also to die for. This just overtook If It Pleases You as my favourite Literary Lacquers purple.
For the holo prompt, I decided some holo on holo action was required, and added a spiral of Literary Lacquers Shadow Between Us.
In some lights, it's hard to pick up the subtelty of what's going on here, but in the best lights, you get a kind of galactic spiral, which I find super cool.

After yesterday's epic fail, we're on safer ground for the rest of the week! Not awesome ground, but not fear-inducing, tear-wiping ground either.
Today is a collage on Cinderella images, as demanded by Beth! However, I was determined to keep it true to the original fairy tale, and de-Disneyed some of her ideas.
The thumb is the pumpkin that will become a carriage once the wand on the index finger is waved.
The middle finger is a snatch of Cinderella's ice blue ballgown. This is Barry M Elderberry, with holo detail from Color Club Angel Kiss.
The clock preparing to strike midnight is on the ring finger, and pinkie is the famous glass slipper, made with the super-twinkly Shadow Between Us by Literary Lacquers.
I don't utterly love this, but hey, it's heaps better than the pigs lol.

Ah, the good ole tape mani! Love it on others, not so keen on doing it on me lol. Actually, that's not true, I am VERY keen on doing it on me, but so much involves getting the "right" sort of tape. Anyway, back to that in a mo.
Let's talk about the base, which was sent to me for review. This is Shadow Between Us by Literary Lacquers and it's INSANELY gorgeous.
You may remember me whinging about the world having too many holos in my end of year posts - well, that doesn't apply to LL because look what she does to them - she adds MAGIC!!
This is one of the sparkliest polishes I own. I love how it twinkles, and I love how in the right light you can see those amazing small glitters in it. Super gorgeous.
For my tape mini I chose 3 Indigo Bananas polishes -
- Indigo Bananas Twice As Bright (pink)
- Indigo Bananas Electric Unicorns (lilac)
- Indigo Bananas Halcyon (purple)
Ok, let's talk tape. Here I am using some nail vinyls from She Sells Seashells, and for me, I am finding that the vinyls have a much better level of stickiness than normal tape.
I struggle using the super thin tape on a roll, as it never wants to stick to anything other than my fingers or clothes - GET ON THE NAIL - and my other tapes can be hit and miss too.
These chevrons were really easy to use, and the only dodgy part was that the lovely Twice As Bright wasn't particularly opaque, so it was a bit of an eeeek experience to try and get it opaque enough without messing up the mani.
Overall, I really love this one.
