Lilypad Lacquer - Tempting Toffee and the World's EASIEST Chevrons

Hi Goddesses

Lilypad Lacquer Week ends with this stunning orange holo.  Unlike Fire, Fire, this is a faded, subtle orange, but no less gorgeous.

Tempting Toffee has a great burnt-sugar quality to it.  It is evocative of toffees, and fudge, and all other deliciously creamy things.

I like how this is another illustration of how Nicole works.  When the colour is on stun (A Balt Out of The Blue, Fire Fire), she turns down the holo.  When the colour is more subtle, or more earthy, or more grounded, she dials the holo up.

This is a perfect autumnal polish, and I can't wait to use this and Honey Nut together to create some leafy manis :)

I was determined to do a pattern over these nails and for some reason, this new idea for how to do chevrons came to me.  Previously, I've always used tape or stickers, or drawn a V in outline, and then coloured it in.

For these nails, I picked a wide, flat brush, placed it diagonally on the nail, and then pulled it towards me, leaving a perfect triangle.  Ok, so they don't look 100% perfect in these photos, but they will, when I next do it :)

This polish was sent to me for an honest review and can be purchased HERE.

That's a pretty orange holo! Awesome chevrons too.

What a cool, smart chevron technique! I bet, with a little care, you could take a smaller flat brush wand add either the base color again or a third color. Ooooo, I have to go find some flat brushes!

Tempting Toffee is gorgeous!! But that link takes me to an empty store. :( It's also not on Llarowe! So much for impulse buying. Any suggestions?
