SIMPLES - Week 2 - Plain Skittle

Hi Goddesses

And welcome to Week 2 of Simples!  I loved seeing all your versions of the plain accent nail last week, and I hope you will continue to enjoy our journey.

Today we have one of my favourite types of mani - the plain skittle.   I use this quite often, for a variety of reasons, and it never fails to make me smile.

So what is it?   Well, a skittle is a mani where every nail is different.  Often, this means different patterns, but at this early stage we're focusing on different colours.   Today I have 5 of the OPI Brazils, and I LOVE that they play together so nicely.

So, why would you do a Skittle?

* OMG you just bought all these amazing polishes DUH and like, you don't know which one to wear first. Lol.

* hhmmmm, these 5 polishes are rather similar.  How can I prove that I need them all?   (Also, a REALLY useful way to destash).

* a great way to wear colours from a new collection together

* it's fun, it's quick and it's easy!

I've done a lot of plain skittles on the blog before, for all of the above reasons -

And I also did one where every nail was the same colour, but a different texture -

So, Skittles, super simple, no skills needed - just pure randomness and a lot of happy :)

Remember, if you want to share your mani, come and join the group HERE.

Next week, we'll look at something similar but different - the Ombre Mani xx
