Hi Goddesses
This was an unusual choice for me from the Holland Collection, but it looked so lovely in photos. Subtle but pigmented, shimmery, elegant ....
And here we have a great big fat MEH .... what happened ? Seriously, I feel like I am jinxed with these Hollands, I really do. On me, most of the pink has run away to hide AND it's taken the shimmer with it! WTH ?
So now I am looking at a colour OPI have done a million times. The pinky shimmery tinge that made it unique and beautiful are invisible and I feel all MEH. I knew this would be pink on a brown base, but ALL I am seeing is brown. I was hoping to do really girlie stuff to this, but it's going to have to wait til Autumn.
Whilst this is a lovely warm and dark rose colour, it does echo a million other OPI polishes, and the shimmer is much more hidden than say Herring and Rotterdam. That's not to say it's not pretty, but its heart clearly doesn't belong in Spring.

I might give this another outing when we finally get some sunshine in the UK - as you can see, there WAS shimmer under the kitchen halogens. But so far, so very Don't Melbourne The Toast :(
