Smitten With Mittens

I love my
festive reds J red is one of my favourite polish colours,
and there’s probably no other brand with more reds than OPI. Whilst a LOT of those reds are very samey,
some of them (that’s you SWM) are very VERY special.
Smitten
With Mittens has it all – cute name, depth of colour, plus that little bit
extra. It’s a deep red (it has more meat
to it than my photos are showing) with amazing gold flecked shimmer. Texturally, it’s quite similar to Meep Meep
Meep from this year’s Muppets Collection.
This red is
soooo vibrant, sooooo rich, sooooo intense.
There is nothing wishy washy about it.
It’s also a perfect red – no orange, blue or brown tones. It’s just red, but a delicious red at
that. It’s a little bit darker than a
basic red, but not even halfway towards ruby.
It is
absolutely the flecking in this that makes it so delicious. In bright lights, she really shows off for
the camera, but in more subtle lighting hides her secret well.
I just
can’t get enough of her – love love LOVE !!!
