Christmas Challenge - Day 9 - Green!

PURPLE CRUMPET FAIRY CHALLENGE – The 31 Days of Christmas

Day 9 – Your Most Festive Green

Hi Goddesses

Well we’re rolling along aren’t we, virtually a third of the way through, and this is the first of 2 EASY days.

This went in a direction I did NOT expect, nor did I expect to love the accidental finished result sooooo much.

This is firstly, 2 coats of CG Glittering Garland from this year’s Christmas Collection.  This is an amazing dark green – a pure forest green that is GREEN and does not try to veer black.  It’s then got millions of micro glitter particles in it which give off an emerald sparkle. So so pretty.  Yay, I loved a green!

Glittering Garland came in my latest swap package from one of my nail besties, Bee Justice.  She also included CG Twinkle Lights, which had underwhelmed me every time I’d seen a swatch of it.  I am not a goldy girl, and I was worried about not liking a gift.

Twinkle Lights is a clear base super-crammed with gold, red and green tiny glitter – there’s probably twice as much gold as the other colours.  On the nail – wow!  This looked AMAZING against Glittering Garland, absolutely amazing!

To be totally honest, this mani was supposed to stop at Glittering Garland, and I thought “I’ll just see what Twinkle Lights looks like before I put it away” – well .. I loved!  My favourite nails are the ones with the tips.  I NEVER do tips, but now there’s obviously a whole new exciting world out there that I never knew existed!

So, totally in love with this mani. The Twinkle Lights makes it RIDICULOUSLY festive, and I am loving my skittle application of the glitter – the randomness ratchets it up another notch for me.

Lots of festive love xxx enjoy J

Top Tip – if you’re ever unsure what a nail colour looks like, go to Google images, which will give you plenty of contrasts and compares.
