Hi Goddesses
How are you all? Better than me I hope. I am now entering Week 5 of the flu, and if this cough would just disappear I think I would be ok.
I have been exhausted. Between the flu, the constant coughing and just having no energy, I have been going to bed at 8pm most nights, and sleeping a lot of the weekend. As I've mentioned, this has put the blog waaaaaay behind.
not really a photo from CrumpetLand
I took delivery of some massive awesomeness today, half of which was for my review pile, so I thought you might like to see what that actually looks like at the mo. I usually hover between 0 and 20 polishes - it purely depends whether they arrive together as to how many are waiting - but it's now around 40, which is the highest it's ever been.
So what's in there? Well, I am down to just 5 of the Darling Diva White Witch Collection. 7 have been done. These should have all been finished weeks ago.
Just about to come from the conveyor belt to the blog post are these 6 amazing Indigo Bananas polishes.
Then I have 7 Lilypad Lacquers I was sent for review (I also bought 7 for myself - oops).
4 Painted Sabotage polishes which have been waiting patiently for a few weeks. I feel glitter polishes need more nail length (on me), and as I had to nub mine to try and get them healthy again, these have slid down the queue.
4 gorgeous Cadillacquers.
7 baby Polish Bars - so cute and springy.
5 polishes from Jacava London.
And then today's mail. A secret package from Quirk, which you will see later this weekend.
6 stunning Arcane Lacquer polishes.
And this amazing AMAZING AMAZING nail mail from Rococo Nail Apparel - wow, I really did squeal. Such beautiful packaging too.
I also got some Elevations and ILNP today, in addition to all the other new stuff I told you about last week.
So, I am a very lucky girl. I have 44 polishes, all of which are gorgeous, and all of which were free, waiting to be swatched. And I am exhausted. I want to nap my flu away, but my brain won't shush because it's also Digit-al Dozen week this week! In a sign of how ill I've been, I have no manis done, and only 1 idea so far. Oy vey.
I want to finish with some realism. I know how lucky I am to be in this position, truly I do, so please don't think I am whining about my good luck. But as I look at my pile of impatient wondrousness, I am aware it is only half the size of some other bloggers' piles, and those are the ladies I am truly in awe of, the Sheilas, the Lisas, the Jens, the Emilys, the Norys .... these ladies who can churn out 8 immaculate swatches a night, every night. Hats off girls, I salute you.
To everyone who has sent me the polish in this pile - thank you! It will be on the blog verrrryyyy soon, and it's going to look bloody lovely :)
