A British Blogging Christmas - Sam from Fingerfood Nails

Hi Goddesses

Today's British Blogger is one of my Ones To Watch.  Sam of FingerFood Nails is great - I love her inventiveness and use of colour, and I predict great things for her in 2014 - you MUST go and look at her elves today xx

Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to Debbie for asking me to take part in her British Blogging Christmas! I've chosen to paint a winter landscape as I love the idea of being all cosy in a warm log cabin with the snow falling all around. From a practicality point of view it'd be a big no-no for me, but a girl can dream!

I used OPI Unfor-greta-bly blue topped with LA Colors Wired for the base and painted in the snow with LA Colors French White, Ciate Angel Wings and some silver glitter accents. The trees are painted with Revlon Sassy, Sinful Colors Exotic Green and Color Club Rebel Spirit, while I used Models Own Nude Beige, Color Club Positively Posh and Rebel Spirit for the little log cabins. The warm glow is from Color Club Sparkle and Soar.

Unfortunately I'm having to use falsies at the moment as my real nails have been reduced to nubs following challenge overload and a series of breaks! Here's how they looked before I applied them:

I hope you all enjoy my festive nail art! I'm thrilled to be part of this British Blogging Christmas event and wish all of you a very happy holiday season however you choose to celebrate!

Sam xx
