Hi Goddesses
Today we start the results of The Readers Poll, and in classic style, I'm going to save the big exciting results for last!
Today's one is interesting. You may remember that I've been asking on this blog, Is Blogging Dead, and we've had a lot of conversations about how people choose to follow, especially in this click and like generation.
The trouble with asking that question on a blog, of course, is that those that DON'T read blogs won't comment, which is why I included it in The Readers Poll, so that those who entered via Facebook or Twitter would have a chance to have their say. Ready?
In 3rd place, with just under 10% of the vote - Instagram. To be honest, it surprised me this was so low, BUT I am not very active on IG, so maybe that's a factor. I can imagine this stat being very different for some other bloggers, especially swatchers.
In 2nd place, with 32% of the vote - Facebook. Again, this surprised me - I expected this to be much much higher.
And finally, the winner, with 41% of the vote, Blog Lovin. This seems to be the channel most of you have switched over to since Google Reader got ditched, and this is how I read blogs too, because I like that you can group them, and don't have to read chronologically.
The surprise for me is that Feedly wasn't higher - so maybe not many of you have migrated to that yet. As ever, some of you still follow by bookmarks, or your own personal list - however you follow, thank you :) xx
Over the next couple of days we'll be looking at your favourite polishes and brands of the year, as well as your highlights.
