Hi Crumpeteers!! I'm Emma of Ems Little Corner it's a real pleasure to be here!
Today I have two alternative Christmas looks to share. I wanted to try and step away from traditional green, red and gold combinations so I grabbed a navy, silver, pink, teal and blue plus my trusty dotting tools and set to.
My base colour for both looks is Mentality Sailor, a gorgeous matte blue polish, the accents are Layla Marshmallow Twinkle, Beauty UK Lollipop, Barry M Guava and Blue Grape and Mentality Hero.
First is my alternative Christmas tree.
I had to add top coat to see how this one would come out!
I have to admit that at some angles these looked like Daleks but Hubby did say he thought they looked like Christmas trees so I was on the right track!
My second look is Christmassy garlands, the type with baubles on the wire. My first attempt at these was dotting over a dark rimmel textured green for a proper Christmas tree look, but dots don't work over texture as well as I had hoped!
And finally with top coat!
Thanks to Debbie for having me, if you want to see more of my nubbins please have a look at my blog, I have all of my social networking buttons on there so there's a few ways you can keep up to date with me!
