Nails I Love - Glitter Gal LIGHT AS A FEATHER

GLITTER GAL – Light As A Feather

Hi Goddesses – Happy Hump Day !!

Today, I have GLITTER GAL’S Light As A Feather.  Glitter Gal is the new fab brand with a great range of holos, and this is number 2 of 7 that I bought.

I love this.  Seriously, I love this.  Not only that, it’s going straight into my All Time Top 10 and IT’S NOT EVEN PURPLE!!!!  J  Oh, this is just sheer pure amazingness, and speaking of sheer, it is, quite.  The left hand had 3 coats and is just about ok (it comes in such a small bottle I didn’t want to use 4 coats).  The right hand however looks really sheer and wishy washy.  I *thought* I used 3 coats here as well, but who knows with me, maybe I got distracted!

So, LAAF is delightful.  It’s basically milk, with the teeniest pinch of palest blue and maybe half a pinch of grey, and then a lot of holographic wonderness.  I have re-christened this Fairy Milk, because I am convinced it’s what the fairies drink to keep their magic powers.

This twinkles and winkles and giggles in the light.  It’s such a happy little polish.  The holo is less obvious in this than the darker colours and is almost more like crazy layered sparkle.  It reminds me a lot of Deborah Lippmann’s Glitter In The Air, but with holo instead of glitter.

I have loved wearing this today.  It looks unbelievably elegant, and you can only tell how special it is if you get right up close enough to really stare into it.  From a distance it looked like a pale shiny lady polish, but when it’s just me and my Glitter Gal having a private moment together, it’s exquisite.

This is just about unique as a polish, and it’s also pretty much killed my Raindrops lemming.  I am not a pale fan, so for me to love this is pretty much a miracle.

If ever there comes a day when I need peace and serenity on my side, THIS is the one I’ll be wearing into battle.

Beautiful.

Sorry for the picture overload, but it IS holy gorgeous !!!

J

Top Tip – if you’re ever unsure what a nail colour looks like, go to Google images, which will give you plenty of contrasts and compares.
