Summer Challenge - Summer Patchwork

Hi Goddesses

This is my last post for the Summer Challenge this year.  I want to start this post thanking all the wonderful ladies in Crumpet's Nail Tarts who took this journey, whether for a few manis or a few weeks.  Special kudos to Katee and Vic who did EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGE - wow, hardcore ladies, hardcore.

I wanted to go out on a high, and I have loved wearing this mani today.  It's loud, it's bright, and it's very faintly ethnic too, and reminds me of some of the amazing colour clashes you get in saris.

So what amazing colour-clashing colours are in this beauty? Well, there's pink (OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips), orange (OPI A Roll In The Hague), turquoise-ish (OPI Fly) and yellow (Barry M).   The gold is a striper from Andrea Fulerton.

I find the easiest way to do these manis is to paint the nail in one colour (all over) and then add your lines.  Then paint your blocks in, then redo your lines.

As it's a patchwork, I was supposed to add the little dashes, but I didn't want to ruin it, so I didn't lol.

So, happy times.  Summer Challenge over.  31 Day Challenge ongoing.  NEW Challenge launching next week AND just a couple of weeks til the Sat-ART-Day Club launches.  Phew!  Fun times :)

Enjoy xx :)
