31DC Day 21 - Inspired By A Colour

Hi Goddesses

Today's post is such a heavenly combination of splendidness - ah, I almost cannot contain how much I LOVED this mani.

Right, some background info first.   One of my favourite polishes is Barry M Indigo, a polish that would NOT photograph anything other than blue for my previous camera which hated purples.   I now have a new camera and a new polish which seems VERRRRY similar to Indigo - Miss Emo Shun All by Sation.  What better way to put ye newe camera through its paces?

Let's start with the swatchety stuff.  Ah, this is a SUBLIME polish.  This is pure indigo, pure blurple, pure WOW.   Think very cold neon purple.  It dries rubbery, and very nice it is too in that state, but glosses up wonderfully under top coat.

Just look - look at how outstanding that colour is.  Ugh, I could wear this every day and not get bored.  It's sooooo dramatic.  Love it.

It's intense, bold, melodramatic - oh me and Miss Emo are going to be sharing a LOT of manis together over the next few months!

So how does it compare to Barry M Indigo ?  Well, they weren't quite as identical as I thought they would be, with Indigo one and a half smidges darker.

To be fair, this camera is still struggling a little with the colour - it's not as blue in real life as the photos are showing.   This photo though is the most accurate.

And if you're going to be inspired, BE INSPIRED!!! So to this heavenly concoction, I added my favourite glitter - Dollish Polish Random Dancing.

All together now - siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.

I think Dolly has reformulated this since I bought my original bottle - the mix seems slightly different and the base more coloured.  I also think my original bottle may have been affected by the Great Suspension Base Crisis as the glitter is chilling out in the bottom 2/3 of the bottle lol.

So, for a Crumpet, it really doesn't get any better than this.  Seriously, if I wore this every day, I would rule the WORLD.

Enjoy xx :)
