Hi Goddesses
Today, my lovely little girl is 9 years old. I am so proud of her and love her more each day. I wanted to do something that would make her squeal, so I designed a mani just for her, as a birthday present. I also want to say a massive thank you to all the other wonderful amazing ladies in Adventures In Stamping who have done a mani for Beth today.
Those of you who read my blog know that Beth is a little bit of a polish whore in the making. She also has a tendency to "steal" the polishes she likes - they tend to be the really glittery ones :) So I wanted the mani to reflect everything she loves, from the types of polishes to the things that matter to her.
So, I started off with a base coat of SH Insta Dri in Presto Pink. I then layered the index finger with Lynnderella Matter of the Heart, the middle with Wet n Wild Correction Tape, the ring with Claire's Candy Shop dupe and the little finger with Claire's Mystical.
The designs are mostly stamping, apart from the middle finger, which is a no 9 done with an art pen. Apparently, so Beth tells me, blood red is her current favourite colour (news to me) so that's what we went with :)
The thumb is a Lilics stamp. It's such a shame Alina has become difficult to contact, as her plates were brilliant. This is a notebook style stamp - we often leave little messages to each other :)
The index is a big fat pussycat. We both like big fat pussy cats, and this one is on the new Mash plates - Mash-30.
The ring finger has hearts. I was going to go for a plainer pattern, but then I spotted these gorgeous heart roses on one of the new Mash plates - this is Mash-39.
Beth adores animals of all sorts (except spiders) so I wanted to reflect her love of furry friends :) This is a HUGE paw print, again from the new Mash plates - Mash-36.
I'll leave you with a photo of my angel. Whatever you're doing, enjoy your day xx :)
