Hi Goddesses
As a birthday present for Beth, I offered her the chance to do a blog post. Needless to say, she jumped at it! So .... be prepared :)
Hi goddesses if you think I’m red haired,40 and obsessed with nails then think again I’m 9, brown haired and not as obsessed with nails as my mum, that’s right I’m Beth also known as BooBoo or baby crumpet.
I did a mani about:
• The philosopher’s stone
• The chamber of secrets
• The prisoner of Azkaban
• The goblet of fire
And
• The order of the phoenix
This first nail (on my little finger) is the Philosophers Stone.
The base coat is 2 layers of accessorise nail polish pink spice which is a pink and when turned it is gold. The stone is -glam nails bright orange which obviously is bright orange.
On the ring finger, this is the basilisk from Chamber of Secrets. Bettina nail enamel iron is used once for the base coat. For the snake I used a squirty thing that was glitter green then a squirty pink for the tongue and please don’t send a snake to mum or she will freak!
On my swear finger, which is based on Prisoner of Azkaban, is a dementor. The base coat is- Sally Hansen White On, and it is white like the name. Mum then splodged a massive blob of -black W7 polish on, wiped it off cos it was too big, repainted it white, did a smaller splodge, and then used a needle to spread it out.
On my index finger is the egg from the Goblet of Fire. The base coat is blue and called -Nails Inc Albert Place. Then the egg is-Barry M Gold Foil and I used a needle to drag the point of the egg into a triangle shape the triangle of it is supposed to be the thing you turn to open the egg.
The thumb of my hand is The Order of the Phoenix and is a purple base coat that is a-England Guinevere this polish is my mums new favourites with every new nail varnish she changes her favourites!!!!!!! For the wand I used another squirty thing that is brown- by the way I’m calling it squirty thing because I don’t know the name of them not because it’s actually called a squirty thing- any way I did a long line for the wand. I then did a shape that was supposed to be a fish with a silver Art Deco striper for the patronuses they practiced in the Room of Requirement.
