Celebration 500 - Guest Post - Helena from Nail Wish

Hi Goddesses

Welcome to the 2nd Guest Post for Celebration 500 month.  Helena runs a great blog called Nail Wish.  I've only gotten to know her recently, but her nail art blows me away (go and check out the ridiculous Rosebud mani she did yesterday - yikes!)

We must also be on the same sort of wavelength because I was going to do a mani for Celebration 500 month, and then Helena's email arrived and she'd done exactly what I'd sketched out in my book, only better lol.

The theme for all the guest bloggers was to depict either a celebration, a recreation of a Crumpet mani OR create a mani they thought I would like eg purple :)  Over to Helena xx

First of all… CONGRATULATIONS to Debbie from this amazing blog, The Crumpet, for making her 500th post this week!!! When she asked for some bloggers to make a guest post for this “bloggerbirthday” I offered myself at once! I was so excited because this is my first guest post! She told me that she wanted me to do a purple mani or a mani which was a celebration, and after almost a month thinking I decided that I was going to do both!

It was really funny because first I decided to do something completely different, but when I was going to start painting my nails I suddenly changed my mind and came up with this. It looks really simple but it’s the hardest manicure that I’ve done. The problem was on the tiny balloons, they were really hard to draw and my skills with free hand nail art are not very good.

This manicure looks outstanding, I love it!! I can’t stop staring at all colours that come from the holographic effect of the glitter.

For this manicure I used:
Base gradient: Claire’s Mood Color Changing Polish “Mellow/Crazy” and Easy Paris nÂș402
Numbers and balloons: China Glaze Techno outlined with acrylic black paint
Topcoat: Seche Vite

I hope you all like it!! And Congratulations again to Debbie!!

Lol, don't you just LOVE how she says her nail art skills are not that good??!!  Thank you Helena, I love it, and it may keep popping up on the blog as a little theme.

The Guests are back on Thursday when it's Amber from Never Naked Nails.  Enjoy xx :)
