Hi Goddesses
Today's post is one of the hardest to write, along with favourite indie polish. There are SO many, that it's really hard for any polish to get nominated more than once. Fortunately though, we have a clear winner .. ish :)
In joint second place .....
OPI My Dogsled Is a Hybrid
I was generally disappointed with the Nordic Collection, but you can't deny the majesty of this wonderful cold green, with its ice blue undertones.
OPI also scored with Today I Accomplished Zero, where they tried to dupe themselves. I didn't get it, but apparently you did!
We then have 2 polishes tied for 1st place, and both of them are utter stunners. First up, Zoya Yuna
I love the smattering of gold throughout this polish - the entire Ignite Collection was flawless, and this perhaps was the standout polish.
Your other joint favourite is a brand we don't often feature on these pages - Illamasqua, and you feel HARD for Melange.
Again, it's that smattering of gold which gives this a beautiful antqiue feel.
It's also interesting to me how 3 of the polishes you've picked are in a very similar ballpark - 2 are linked by gold shimmer, 2 are linked by artic green bases. In a year when I've been obsessed with hot pinks and oranges, it seems you've all been off having fun in the other direction lol. In fact, there was a general absence of hot colours in all the nominations, with only vampy colours threatening the blue-green stranglehold.
Interesting.
