Hi Goddesses
Today is a special day - the inaugral challenge from our stamping group Adventures In Stamping. If you want to join, just click this link. The group is a great place to discuss stamping ideas, problems and traumas and also to gain great tips and support!
So, we decided the group would Stamp On Sundays, and our first challenge was GREEN. Anything you like, as long as it's GREEN.
To be honest, I am REALLY disappointed with how mine turned out. I'd decided I was just going to use a pattern I hadn't used before, and I picked this linear pattern off Konad M64.
So why don't I love it ?
wellllll - the base colour, CG Laser Lime (which I will do a separate post on) just underwhelmed me. Really thin, and actually quite an obnoxiously yellowy green. Me no likey
I then couldn't decide which colour to stamp with, and actually thought long and hard about a clashing colour, and I should have gone with that instinct. Instead, I thought it would be a great idea to stamp with Glitter Gal Lizard Belly, a super dark holographic green, and as you might be able to see, it neither looks holographic or like its normal pine green colour
the stamping - I am still not perfect at getting the whole of the pattern onto my nails, and there were gaps with this - probably because I was scared of wasting more than a micro droplet of Lizard Belly lol.
So there you have it - totally meh, can't wait to take it off.
Stamping - it's what they call a "learning curve" lol.
Enjoy xx :)
