Tri Polish Challenge Day 2 - Green and Purple Skittle

Hi Goddesses

A thousand apologies that this didn't get posted yesterday as scheduled.  My sinuses were hell on earth again, due to impending snow, and it literally felt like my ear was going to explode.  Thankfully, I feel heaps better now it actually IS snowing, so let's get with the mani!

Today I am using just 2 of my colours - OPI Thanks A Windmillion (green) and OPI Vant To Bite My Neck? (purple), with a teeny splash of my favourite white, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

I really love this mani.  I think the purple and the green played off against each perfectly, with the subtlety of one being offset by the drama of the other.

The thumb is a simple dotticure, as is the little finger.  LOVE the thumb, ignore the little finger lol!  The index was done using a medium sized art brush.  I started with a wiggly line, and just let it fade away as the polish dried up.

The middle finger is a gradient, but not a proper smooth one.  I didn't want this one to blend too much, so I just applied my base colour and then sponged the purple on top.

Finally, the ring finger is a simple tape mani - not perfect, but not too bad either :)

I really love skittle manis, they make me happy in a way I can't really describe, but I tend to run out of ideas after 3 nails lol.  Maybe I just need to plan better.

See you on Tuesday with Day 3 of this Challenge, and all over the weekend with all sorts of swatch SPAM and reviews :)

Enjoy xx :)
