Hi Goddesses
And so we resume our trawl through Literary Lacquer awesomeness. This is the 3rd holo in The Good Parts Collection, but as we'll see, this one's a little bit different and a whole lot special :)
Apparently, this one is inspired by 50 Shades of Grey, but as I'm probably the only person on the planet not to have read it, I can't comment lol.
Now, Amy describes this a charcoal holo. I have to say, I'm not sure I 100% agree. I saw a lot of brown tones in this, and occasional green ones too, making it more of a dark-grey-brown than charcoal. Holographic bark is what I'd call it :)
The bend in this (as it has been with all the LL holos) is stunning, bringing warmth to an otherwise cold polish.
This one differs from the other LL holos because it also contains very fine holographic glitter. This means it doesn't have quite as smooth a look, but also gives it something mysterious.
There's something distinctly other worldly about this polish. It reminds me of soulless galaxies or moonrock or moondust. It lurks, this polish, in the caverns and the shattered stars, it lurks.
I'm not sure how often I would wear this polish as it's not really in my colour zone. One thing's for sure though - it FASCINATES me. I've stared at it and stared at it, and I can't get enough of looking at it. It's very reptilian and wholly beguiling. It defies categorisation, and ultimately, that's what makes it sooooo special.
This polish was sent to me for an honest review - enjoy xx :)
