Hi Goddesses
By now, a lot of you will have already headed over to Literary Lacquers' Etsy shop (HERE) to stock up on The Good Parts Collection. It launched on Monday, and as you know, I've been pretty obsessed with one of the polishes from it, If It Pleases You (HERE).
Amy also sent me the entire collection to review, but frustratingly, it didn't arrive til after the launch. My plan was to swatch it and do 2 posts, but to be honest, some of the polishes are SO pretty that they need a post of their own.
Here is the 2nd star of the Collection then, More Like Fire Than Light. This is an orange linear holographic, the jaffa twin of If It Pleases You.
All the polishes are inspired by erotic fiction, and this one is inspired by Delta of Venus by Anais Nin.
This is pure WOW in a bottle. I gotta tell you, I spent the whole day wiggling my nails - AGAIN - just watching the light ignite the rainbow.
I used 3 coats for these photos. My lighting set up seems to be able to spot and amplify any hint of VNL, so I chose caution! In real life, you'll probably only need 2.
This is a gorgeous shade of orange, and reminds me of holographic marmalade :) There's something warm and comforting about the colour, and it's just ARGH perfect!
Until very recently orange holos were a rarity, and even HITS couldn't make a good one. That started to change about 6 to 8 months ago and you may remember I did an orange holo comparison post (HERE). Well, suffice it to say, there needs to be a rematch, and you can see that soon.
I make no apologies at all for the kazillion photos in this post - if they don't get you slavering, then you are either soulless or dead :)
This polish was sent to me for an honest review.
Enjoy xx :)
