Hi Goddesses
The Immortal is ... an interesting polish. I actually really like it, but it has some very strange properties AND lives up to its name!
So, what colour is it? Well er ... concrete? I think that's what it reminds me of most, sparkly, magical concrete. It's a beigey-grey base, infused with purple superfine glitter and a holy shit-ton of gold shimmer.
The first thing I love about this polish - who would even dream of creating it? We've all sat there and yearned for a red / green / blue holo, but who would sit there and dream of THIS? I find that fascinating. It's such an unusual mix of a polish.
It reminds me of Aunt Beast by Literary Lacquers, they both have very similar qualities, but this one has them amped up a bit more.
Then there's all that gold. Will you look!! Not even the matte top coat could dull the gold. It shines through, even when matte.
Although I love this holo, I think I prefer it matte. It's nuances are more exaggerated matte - before I matted it, I couldn't tell that the glitter was purple - and wow, all that gold.
And then here's the REALLY funny thing about this polish. It genuinely IS The Immortal. I took Beth to the zoo a couple of weeks ago, and as we were sat watching the sea lions in golden sunshine, I looked at my hand. My MATTED hand. And the holo was shining. How is that possible? Matte top coat could not kill this polish lol. Not the most stunning photos, but so incredible a phenomenon, I thought I'd best have some proof lol.
