Literary Lacquers - A Wrinkle In Time - Stained Glass Nail Art

I spent this weekend playing with the new Literary Lacquers Collection - A Wrinkle In Time.  The good news is that I think this is Amy's best collection to date, AND the polishes play beautifully together.   You're going to see quite a bt of nail art with them over the next couple of weeks, but believe me, you won't get bored of them!

The swatches will come in another post, but today I want to share some mosaic or stained glass nail art with you.  I love this style, and yet it's ages since I last did it.  Go figure.

The base for this mani was the yellow of the collection, Happy Medium.  I then drew the mosaic pattern over it with my Sam Biddle nail art pen and her water based paint - I'm still having issues with this pen, so the outlining was a little thicker than I wanted.

I then used a nail art brush to colour in my pieces, using one colour at a time - 

* green - Who Which Whatsit
* orange - Strong Steady Hand
* pale blue - Swallowed Up In Blue
* purple - Megatron

For me, the finished version really pops, and I was sad to take this off.  A great mani AND a happy mani :)
