And The Sun Goes Down .....

Hellooooooo Goddesses

Well, this is it, the last day of the Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge - Spring Sunset.

I want to start by thanking all the wonderful ladies who have taken part in this challenge.  They have created some awesome manis, and I'd really like to thank you all for doing as many challenges as your lifestyle allowed.  You can see a full list of names at the end of this post.

Ironically, this mani was actually one of the first ones I did, and it's been sitting waiting patiently for weeks.   Driving home from work each night, I come up a big hill.  If I turn to my right, I can look down on the city of Lincoln, and for about a week, these were the colours of the sky.

This is what 5pm looks like in Spring in the UK in February.  It's that lovely dusk phase where it's dark, but you can still see clearly.   Most nights, the Spring sky would darken, and take on a purple hue - and that's what we have here.

This is 2 coats of Zoya Skylar, gradient sponged with my favourite OPI Planks A Lot.

As you know, my camera hates purples, and in real life this did look a bit cooler, and the gradient was more obvious.  I do like the subtle mix of the colours though.

So that's it for now.  I'd love to know what your favourite posts were, and I will try to do a round up at some point.   We've got a challenge break til May 19th when the EPIC Summer Challenge kicks off - that will take us through to September.   If you ever want to take part, just click on the Purple Crumpet Fairy logo to the right, and it will take you through to our FB page.

As promised - here are the special ladies who took part in the Spring Challenge.  Every single one of them produces a quality blog - go fill your boots!

Enjoy xx :)
