ESSENCE Late Summer Nail Art - Daisies

Hi Goddesses

Well I actually feel better after my flu / whatever and am busy trying to catch up!  This is the last post that should have gone live daaaaaays ago.

The lovely people at Essence invited several bloggers to create some late summer nail art.  I planned to do mine a couple of weeks ago, but then as sniffles took hold thought, do you know what, September 22nd, the LAST day of summer would be cool.  Sady, Mr Flu had other ideas.

We were all sent 3 polishes, a gorgeous little dotting tool, a nail file and some itty bitty nail stickers.  Although I planned to use the stickers in my design, they were just a little too fiddly for my huge paws.

I started with a base of Prince Charming, a really lovely green with loads of shimmer.  Because I wanted to play up the contrasts in my nail design, I then matted it.

I then added Party In A Bottle, a jade / emerald glitter as my grass, just brushed it on, and also used it with the dotting tool to create some stems for my daisies.

The daisies were made with Bee My Honey, a very subtle lemon, and some long dotting with the dotting tool.  I then added some centres to my daisies with Party In A Bottle.

Essence products are always good quality in my opinion, and they have a lowish price point.  In the UK, you can find them in Wilko / Wilkinsons, so be sure to grab yourselves some bargains.

These product were sent to me for my use / honest opinion.
