MoYou Nails Stamping Plates 127 & 128 Review

Hi Goddesses

Before Christmas, I was sent some goodies for review by MoYou Nails (aka the "other" MoYou).  I am a little annoyed they have taken so long to reach the blog - you can blame a 31DC and nail breaks for that!

I was sent 2 stamping plates and 1 polish - let's see how they measured up.

Plate 127 has some really cute images, and I decided to do some very untypical stamping using the flames, snowflakes and clouds over a neon base.

This was such a fun mani!  No problems stamping at all.

Plate 128 didn't fare quite so well, but I am not sure I hold it totally to blame.   As you can see, the chevron pattern stamped fine, but the straight lines didn't.

Now, I am honestly not sure I am prepared to blame the plate here.  I have NEVER had success with this pattern on any plate I've bought, so I'm going to allow the jury to sit that one out.  It's worth noting though that every other image on these 2 plates performed as expected.

I also used the mermaid pattern and MoYou Nails Persian Turquoise over Sally Hansen Royal Icing.

Very happy with how this one turned out, and no complaints on the image or the stamping polish.

This isn't my first time reviewing for MoYou Nails, and I have happily also bought their polishes.  Their plates are "fine", which sounds like a criticism, although it's not meant to be.  Other than the striped pattern above, I've never had a problem with their plates, but I'm not sure there's a market for small individual plates anymore.  Everybody else is moving to larger plates, and at £4.99 each, these small plates aren't cheap either.  It's a good product, but they might have to adapt their model to survive.

These items were sent to me for an honest review and can be purchased HERE.
