The Sunday Rambler 2014.3

Hi Goddesses

And welcome to another Sunday whatever :)  I have still been flu-ridden this week.  I am just so SICK of feeling sick!  This cough may be the most annoying thing ever and all I want to do is curl up and cry.

I can't even play with my polishes to cheer myself up.  Some of you will know the story of my "everlasting".  This is a vertical split I get on my dominant hand on the index nail.  It splits, I trim it, it grows out - yay - it splits .... etc

For some reason it has recently split worse than ever, and in the middle of the night this week, it decided to split itself as far as it could.  Bad news - man it hurt ripping that off.  Good news, hopefully now that it's at its "root", it can heal.

(the yellow isn't pus; I think it's cury sauce!)

Talking of healing, last week I invested in some Trind.  People who use it swear by it, and in a fit of optimism, I nubbed my nails so that they could grow back healthy.  Every single nail I had had a split or a jag or just *something* - so, drastic was the name of the game!

And then watched all the polish pour in through the letterbox!   Man!   I am sooooooo excited by all my recent post, but it's so cruel not being able to use any of it cos your nails are too short.

So what exactly did arrive?   Well, in the review pile we have -

12 Darling Divas

4 Painted Sabotages

4 Cadillacquers (and I bought another couple)

14 Lilypads!!!!!!!!!

and 7 baby Polish Bars

And if that wasn't exciting enough, I've also bought -
OPI Brazil
OPI Brazil mini textures
OPI Gwen Stefani
China Glaze City Flourish 2014
last year's China Glaze textures
lots of Morgan Taylor
LOADSA Delush!

Lots of Indigo Bananas!!

So, I now have on my desk what I call my BOX OF HAPPY.  This box contains all the polishes currently making me smile, and this is what most of the next few month's manis are going to be made of :)

I alo bought loads and loads of new nail art brushes.  Finding a thin enough brush has become a bit of a Holy Grail, so here are some of the ones I bought, including 20/0 and 30/0 - oh! -

I'll update you as I get through them!

Project Emptying The Vault continues to go well.  I think I have about 35 more posts in there lol - that's 7 weeks worth of material lol.

I can't wait for hopefully next week to feel better, sit at my nail desk on Saturday and say - right, what are we going to talk about this week?  It's going to make for a much more organic blog, and I'm really excited.

In the meantime, Beth got in on some swatching action.  She likes BLOOD RED BLOOD RED polishes at the moment lol, so this stunner from Indigo Bananas thrilled her.   I "forgot" (or not) to mention that it glowed in the dark, and her reaction was priceless when she found out.  Lol.

So, is there a plan for this week?  Yesssss, more vault emptying....  but once it's done, it's bloody done!!!  And then the fun can begin :)
