The Digit-al Dozen DOES Monochrome with the GOT Polish Challenge - Stripes!

Hi Goddesses

Phew, that was a bit of a title, wasn't it ahaha.  Today I've actually combined 2 challenge manis, rather than doing 2 separate ones.

The GOT Polish theme today is Stripes, so I have done stripes using 3 purples - 2 glitters and a shimmer.

Let's get up close and personal with the base first, for it is an EXQUISITE polish.  I have a disgustingly large number of dusty lilacs, but this is one of my favourites - My Kind of Cool Aid by Cult Nails.  It's just the right shade, and the shimmer is to die for.

I then added a freehand stripe down the middle of each nail using Sonoma Nail Art Halloween In The Vines -this is a fabulous purple glitter which sits in a purpley syrup.  I applied the stripe using the polish brush.

I then used a thin striper brush to do stripes either side of it, using OPI Can't Let Go.  This is a more blurple affair, which is tonally at odds with the Cult Nails, but luckily, the Sonoma polish contains glitters in warm and cold shades, uniting the whole thing.

Total accident, but it sounds totally like I'd thought it out, doesn't it haha.

Again, me and Baby Crumpet disagree.  I am a bit meh about this one as it feels "forced" to satisfy both challenges.  She, on the other hand, loved it.

See you tomorrow for the end of the week!
