Crumpet Reviews - Above The Curve Holo-oh-oh polishes Part 2

Hi Goddesses

Today I have part 2 of a holo-oh-oh extravaganza for you!  Here are the other 3 Above The Curve polishes I was sent for review.  Pleasingly, I also bought quite a few, so there’s lots more awesome on the way :)

Let’s start today with Guardian Angel.  This is a lilac-purple holo, very soft, very scattered with warm tones throughout.

This is another one that looks a bit meh in the bottle but comes to life and light on the nail.   There’s a lovely quality to this polish.

If I’m honest, it wasn’t my favourite, but I think that’s only because I have so many purple holos lol – this certainly isn’t less lovely than her brothers and sisters.

The Midnight Blues is the least holographic of these polishes, and the hardest to photograph!  I really struggled to capture all her subtleties, and trust me, she really is lovely.

TMB is a teal-petrol-pseudo navy.  Never too dark, but just dark enough to be twisted and fascinating.

This is also littered with the blue / violet specks used to such good effect in Fallen Angel.  It’s lovely.  Dark and lovely, like star systems before the planets arrive.

Finally, Wisteria.  Oh la la!  This is darkest deepest purple, so so dark, so  so midnight.  With scattered holo.  Siiiiigh.

This is just gorgeous.  So overly dramatic and effortlessly beautiful.  There is a serenity in this darkness – it’s fathomless and soundless and overwhelmingly wow.

I hesitate to call this my favourite of the bunch.  It certainly has the most impact and the highest stun quotient, but it lacks the complex subtlety and quiet mystery of some of the other polishes.

That said, they are ALL winners.  I’ve already been back for more since my first order arrived :)   Above The Curve can be bought HERE and at various e-tailers.

These polishes were sent to me for an honest review.  Enjoy xx
