Review - Smitten Polish

Hi Goddesses

Today we have the first Smitten Polishes to hit the blog.  This is a brand I've had my eye on for some time.  I've bought a couple, but only a couple, as every time I look, most of the polishes seem to be those milky white glitters that I just cannot get away with wearing.

Luckily however, Noelie's new collection is bursting with colour, and I was super excited when she offered to send me 3 for review.  Now, it probably won't surprise you that I asked for a purple, but WAIT, STOP THE CLOCKS, I also asked for 2 greens.  Uh huh.   But obviously I'm going to start with the purple ...  :)

Look To The Western Sky is gobsmackingly sensational.  As a purple lover, it takes something quite exceptional to knock my socks off these days.  Well, this is it!

This is an intense purple vinyl polish which is obscenely bright (I'm amazed the photos are as accurate as they are). By vinyl, I mean this dries to a matte, rubbery finish.  I know a lot of you are going to love that.  I liked it, but was in a hurry, so just went straight to glossy with a lick of Poshe.

Most of all, I love the sunshine clash of the glitters - yellow, orange, most of the rainbow is here.  Oh, this was just DELICIOUS.

So then we have the first green.  I am drawn to colour clashes lately, and when I saw that Pink Goes Good With Green was a muted pastel green LADEN with bright glitter, I couldn't resist.

This polish applied beautifully.  Super creamy and effortless.  And the glitters, ah the glitters .... pink, purple, pastel green ....

Just to die for gorgeous .... she made me like a green ... is that why the Collection is named after Oz witchiness ...  must be ....

And the 2nd green - Copper Canyon.  This is a dark forest green.  Super dark, super maleficent!  This is a polish that could inspire the evil forest in a Disney movie!

This had much more of a jelly finish, and this is 3 coats you're seeing.  The glitter is a dark gold and copper colour, but the tealyness of the base makes it look darker in some lights.  I actually like that - it gives it more variety and tonality.

Out of all the polishes, this was the runaway favourite at work ... personally, I preferred the purple, no the creamy greeny ... the purple, yes the purple ... and the greeny :)

Smitten Polish can be bought in a variety of places, including her Etsy store HERE and you can follow her on Facebook HERE.

These polishes were sent to me for an honest review, but I gotta tell you, I love them HARD.   Fact.  Now I need to go and buy some more!

Enjoy xx :)
