Review - The Polish Bar - Winter 2013 Collection

Hi Goddesses

Hot on the heels of yesterday's Black Cat Lacquer post, today I have some polishes to show you from another of my favourite indie makers - The Polish Bar.

For me, The Polish Bar is often about simplicity, and less is more.  Janice's polishes always have wow factor, but in a very different way (for me) than other polishes makers.  They also look extremely professional, apply easily and have the ability to make you drool :)  All of today's polishes are from the Winter 2013 Collection - I have 3 of the 7, and all 7 are gorgeous.

I'm going to start with my possible favourite - Sunday Morning.  This is a delightful mix of small lilac, aqua, periwinkle and purple glitters.

I decided to layer it over 2 of the new Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes that are coming out, and the overall colour combination is just WOW, all 3 polishes playing off against each other perfectly.   The purple is Good To Grape and the teal is Jungle Gem.

I really love the colour combination here, and the gentle POP against the darker bases.

The next polish is Butterfly Kisses which I layered over Elevation Polish Alphubel.    This is a super pretty pastel glitter, with secret holographic butterflies.

As you know, I'm not a big fan of shapes in my glitter, but these were quite sparse.  Luckily they don't outweigh the beauty of the lavender, baby blue and holo pastel squares.

The final polish is By Starlight, a fabulous glitter bomb, which I layered over another of the new Sally Hansens, Berry Important, a vibrant berry-magenta.

It's probably no surprise that this polish made me very happy indeed - I even liked the occasional bar glitter!  The rainbow glitters provided just the right amount of pop.

To be fair, I could quite happily live without the star glitters, but - for possibly the first time ever - I wore those glitters all day without sustaining an injury!   I particularly love this photo where the light really bounces off the holo-ey base of the star.

You can buy all of these polishes in The Polish Bar store on Etsy HERE and follow on Facebook HERE.  I rate this brand highly - trust me, you won't be disappointed.

These polishes were sent to me for my honest review.

Enjoy xx :)
