Yet More From The World's Longest Ever Christmas Challenge

PURPLE CRUMPET FAIRY CHALLENGE – The 31 Days of Christmas

Day 27 – Leftovers!

Hi Goddesses

OMG this challenge just goes ON and ON and ON it’s ridiculous!!  What was I thinking??!!!!  Lol.  Even I am sick of it ha ha.  Luckily, the last few days of it don’t really have too much to do with Christmas.

Leftovers is one of my favourite things about Christmas.  As I write this, I am cooking turkey soup, and yesterday all I ate was from the big slop bowl of leftovers – love it.  Though I am SERIOUSY craving Chinese now!

I’d been struggling with what to do for this one, and thought I would have to resort to a splatter, using colours to represent the food of a Christmas meal, but then … inspiration (or rather tidying the nail room) struck and I found THIS that I had forgotten about!

Question – what do you do with leftover nail polishes?
Answer – you franken!

And this is probably the first franken I ever made, and actually when I made it, I had Christmas in mind.  This was half a bottle of Nubar Purple something, a glitter which was ridiculous, mainly due to it not bearing any resemblance to anything purple at all, plus half a bottle of OPI Mat-Adore Red.  Shakey shakey and – voila!

When I did the first coat, I was a bit worried, as there was hardly any glitter on the nail (unlike the bottle lol) – but those little twinkly holo bits make up for it, and I actually think this benefits from being super subtle.

It’s super shiny, really twinkly, sexy yet understated and I REALLY like it J

Isn’t it Christmassy too ?  until today it didn’t have a name, but now what else can I call it but Christmas Leftovers lol ?

Enjoy xx J

Top Tip – if you’re ever unsure what a nail colour looks like, go to Google images, which will give you plenty of contrasts and compares.
