Literary Lacquers THERMOFISH meets MoYou Sailor 05

Hi Goddesses

We're back to the Literary Lacquers Vurt-U-Want collection today, and some nail art that I did with the stupendous Thermofish.

Thermofish is the colour of a green ocean. It's so beautiful, you WILL want to swim in it.  The colour is perfection, and the glitter is just ... gah, to die for.

So with the oceanic theme in mind, there was really only one way to go, and I picked MoYou Sailor 05 and added some silver stamping.

Orginally, I was going to use one of the other polishes in the collection to "colour-in" part of the design, but you know what?  Sometimes simple is best.

Liquid Sky Lacquer WHERE'S MY LIME

Hi Goddesses

A long, long time ago, in a mani far, far away, THIS happened.  No, I don't know what it is either, but I'm still posting it :)

This started off with a simple base coat of Where's My Lime from Liquid Sky Lacquer.  A really vibrant, kermit green.

Afterwards, as I usually do, I attacked it with a sponge and a couple of other greens and stamped over it with MoYou Gothic Collection 10.

The finished result was ok - but as the Girl Who Doesn't Like Green, who am I to judge - and reminded me a little of a cracked window pane.

Either way, thanks for watching while I empty the vault lol.

Polish of The Year Already? Cupcake Polish Berry Good Looking

Hi Goddesses

If you're part of any nail-related Facebook groups, you'll know that EVERYBODY has been talking about today's polish. Not only that, but I hear even their cats have been purring about it too!

Said polish is Berry Good Looking by Cupcake Polish.  It's a brand that had been on my periphary for a while.  I'd almost bought on several occasions, but then realised she didn't ship to the UK.

Anyway, then one day, bloggers started previewing her latest collection.  Every time I saw a photo of this polish I gasped.  Hell, I even think I peed a little.  Because quite simply, this is a polish that absolutely SLAYS you.

I'm a sucker for bright pinks and berries, and this is almost stratospherically bright.  It's deeply saturated and flirts with purple, but mostly, it's all about the wow.

Wearing it, wow, I just couldn't stop staring.  Whatever angle I viewed my nails from, I was transfixed, especially ay 11am, which is when the sun shines PERFECTLY on my desk at work lol.

Weirdly, this polish is almost a one-coater.  I find that extraordinary.  I've always believed a holo should be thin, so that it can build majestically, but here's your exception.   It's also ever so faintly metallic in composition (or seems to me) and I think that adds to its opacity and its crazy, off-the-scale bendiness.

Will there be a polish to top this, this year?   I seriously doubt it.  This one has taken everybody by storm.  Ah, but wouldn't it be an amazing world if there were another 10 polishes just as good as this one ...... sigh.

Bravo, Sara Casey, so much bravo xxx

MoYou Illusion Sends My Girly Bits Dotty!

Hi Goddesses

Today I have a mani for you that I absolutely LOVED!

This almost made it into Digit-al Dozen Week, and you'll quickly see why I kept it to one side, because the base was THIS dotticure which I did for DD Day 1.

I thought long and hard about whether to include both, or whether it was cheating.  Could they be bookends for the week?  Or should they both be in the same post?  It wasn't til a friend remarked that she'd never have recognised the dotticure as the base, that I decided to keep it for a separate post.

The stamping here is from MoYou Illusion 05 - seriously, the Illusion range is my favourite range MoYou have ever done.

I particularly love that sometimes the dot is in EXACTLY the right place to make it look like I put it there deliberately - how cool is that lol?

This is bright, funky, and if I do say so myself, just a little bit fabulous!
